Risk Assessment
During filming our trailer we had to be made aware of any risks that could occur. In order for this to be a successful risk assessment we made sure that everyone in the group and other actors involved knew the risk, we also got them to sign a document to say they were okay with any possible risks.
Whilst in the process of filming we faced multiple dangers. Most of these came from the surroundings of the areas we filmed in and props used. To ensure the safety of all members of the group, as well as any extras or helpers we had to assess each area we filmed before we actually started filming.

Possible Risks:
In our trailer we use the prop of a Mirror, this becomes a possible risk as during one of our scenes we have to smash the mirror by hitting a member of groups face into it. This can be dangerous as smashed glass can cause serious cuts and bleeding, in order to control this measure we will be using flashes on light so we don't actually see the girls face getting smashed into the mirror. We will be smashing the mirror outside so there are no little bits of glass over the bathroom and we will be wearing protected gloves to smash the glass.
A second risk is in one off our scenes Hannah gets drowned by our possessor, this can be a risk as she could bang her head on the surface, she should choke on the water and the possessor could be too forceful. In order to control this measure we are going to do have a time limit of 10 seconds per time of Hannah's face in the water. We are also going to do a test run of the scene before we film in order to make sure she doesn't hurt herself and there are no risks.
A third risk is the use of rope, in our trailer Mr Cullen committed suicide by hanging himself, we are going to his death to portray our last and final death of Ryan. We have to be careful when filming this scene as a risk could be that Ryan could choke or he could get rope burnt. A control measure for this risk is we are going to film two separate shots and then combine them together to make it look like one whole scene of him hanging, we are also going to make sure there is a lot of room between the rope and the neck.
One of the final risks is the use of make up during the first death. This could be a risk as Ffion could have a allergy or an allergic reaction to the make up used to create a stabbed wound in her neck. To control this risk we are going to do a tester on the make up we are going to on the side of Ffion's neck; we are then going to leave this for a few hours and see if a rash appears on her neck, if one does not appear we can carry on with using the make up.

Also as we are borrowing equipment from school to help us film our trailer we have to ensure we keep them in good condition and to ensure we prevent them from getting broken or damaged. This means being ultra careful when manoeuvring from one place to another. This can vary from checking to see whether the camera is screwed onto the tripod securely or whether you're in the dark. We should also be extra careful if you are filming with water, which in one scene we are and fake blood and make up, so it doesn't spill onto the camera and cause it to break.
