StoryBoard
A storyboard is a sequence of drawings including directions and dialogue which represents the shots planned for a film or television production. We made one for our trailer to give us a rough idea on what we may be filming, which shot to film and what camera movement to use. Throughout filming for our trailer we came up with new ideas and made slight changes to our work when making improvements, so our trailer does not match perfectly with the storyboard.
The extra shots we added to our timeline were:
1) A long shot of Hannah running away. The camera pans to the right.
2) A long shot of Holly throwing a chair. The camera is stationary.
3) A mid shot of Holly banging her head against the wall. The camera is stationary.
4) A close up of Ffion dead. The camera is stationary
5) A close up of Ryan's feet hanging. The camera is stationary.
6) A mid shot of Holly turning around looking at the camera. The camera is stationary.
7) Finally we changed our final shot from the mid shot of Ryan's legs hanging to a close up of Holly's face as she screams into the camera. The camera is stationary.
